Sweep Wizard ("we," "us") helps you look up your street sweeping schedule and sends you reminders before your block is cleaned. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address and password (passwords are stored only as a secure hash).
- Address & location — the street address you look up and its coordinates, so we can find your ward, section, and sweeping schedule.
- Mobile number — only if you choose to enable text alerts, so we can send you SMS reminders.
- Alert preferences — which addresses you follow and whether you want email or text notifications.
How we use your information
- To show you street sweeping schedules for the addresses you look up.
- To send the reminders you signed up for, by email and/or text, before your scheduled sweeping days.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Text messaging (SMS)
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your number is used solely to deliver the Sweep Wizard alerts you requested.
Message frequency varies based on your street's sweeping schedule — typically a few messages per week during the April–November sweeping season, and none in the off-season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
You can opt in to text alerts by adding your mobile number and turning on "Text alerts" in your dashboard, and you can turn them off at any time there or by replying STOP.
How we share information
We share information only with the service providers that make Sweep Wizard work — for example, our email provider (Resend) and our SMS provider (Twilio) — and only as needed to deliver your notifications. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention and your choices
You can delete individual address alerts or your entire account at any time from your dashboard, which removes the associated data. To request deletion or ask a question, email us at sweepwizardsupport@gmail.com.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
